About ToolsWorld
ToolsWorld is a free collection of 183 online tools for images, PDFs, text, code, money, health, design and everyday tasks. Every tool is free, needs no account, and works in the browser you are using right now.
Why we built it
Most of us need a small tool a few times a week: shrink a photo for a form, merge two PDFs, count the words in an essay, format some JSON, work out a loan payment. The usual options are frustrating. Many sites make you upload private files to an unknown server, wait in a queue, sign up for an account, or download a result with a watermark on it.
ToolsWorld takes a different approach. Wherever it is technically possible, the work happens on your own device, inside your browser, using JavaScript. When you compress an image or merge a PDF here, the file is never sent to us or to anyone else. That makes the tools faster (there is no upload to wait for) and much safer for documents such as ID scans, contracts, invoices and payslips.
Who is behind ToolsWorld
ToolsWorld is built and maintained by Muhammad Rehan Baig, a software engineer who builds web products focused on privacy and usability. Muhammad Rehan Baig also built Resumate, a free ATS-friendly resume builder that saves your resumes in your own Google Drive.
Each tool is designed, written and tested by hand. The explanations on every page are written to help you understand what the tool does, which settings to choose, and how the underlying formula or standard works, so you can trust the result.
How the tools work
- Files stay on your device. Image, PDF, text and developer tools read your files with your browser’s built-in APIs and process them locally. Nothing is uploaded.
- A few tools need live data, and they say so on the page with a “Uses live data” label: the currency converter fetches exchange rates, the IP lookup asks a public service for your address, and speech recognition in some browsers is handled by the browser maker’s servers.
- No accounts. We do not ask for your name or email to use any tool. Some tools remember your settings or drafts in your browser’s local storage so you do not lose work; you can clear that at any time.
- Free, supported by ads. The site is funded by advertising, which lets us keep every tool free with no limits and no watermarks.

Accuracy and feedback
We test every tool against known results, and calculators show the formula they use. Still, mistakes can happen. If a result looks wrong, a tool does not work in your browser, or you would like a tool we do not have yet, please contact us. Requests from visitors decide which tools we build next.
